Hello, EmperorsWrath here.

Battlebarge was started in 2004, mainly to be a site that contained galleries of my painted miniatures as well as painting and conversion guides. Eventually it was to have more content, becoming broader in scope: battle reports, terrain building guides, reviews, and commentaries.

In 2009 the Goat and I decided that the old Battlebarge site had languished un-updated for long enough, and Battlebarge was changed from being a generic website to a Blog format. This transition was made to facilitate the changes we have envisioned and allow us to give back to the gaming community.

A little bit about the contributors:

  • EmperorsWrath – GW hobbyist since 1989. Golden Daemon award winning painter. Terrain maker.
  • the Goat – also GW hobbyist since 1989. Webmaster.
  • Draconian – GW hobbyist since 1989 (see a pattern here?). IG specialist. Plaster master.
  • Arjac – GW hobbyist since before Skaven were known as Ratmen.
  • SheepLord – GW hobbyist since late ’80′s. Creator of scratch-built vehicles and terrain.
